
Ingredients
- 8 oz Crushed Digestive biscuits
- 2 tbsp Golden syrup
- 2 tsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Cocoa powder
- 1 oz Butter
- 4 oz Raisins/ Sliced almonds/ nuts (or any dried fruit or nuts you want)
- 6 oz Dark chocolate (or milk chocolate)
- 1 oz White chocolate (for decoration)
Method
- Over a medium heat melt together the golden syrup, sugar and butter until one uniform mixture.
- Sift in the cocoa powder and mix in the the crushed digestives and dried fruit/ nuts.
- Press into a greased tin (29cm x 22cm), leave to set in the fridge for minimum 20 minutes.
- Melt the dark chocolate and spread evenly over the set digestive mixture. Melt the white chocolate and drizzle over the dark chocolate (whilst still wet).
- Leave to set in the fridge minimum 2 hours, and slice into squares.
